Procrastinators Unite!
How many of you start something with a good intention and end up procrastinating?
During my blog vacation, I had the opportunity to use my time productively. I created a schedule and yet, I still managed to waste the time I gave myself. Procrastination is my worst enemy...I think it could be hereditary as my mom is one of the worst procrastinators I know. :-)) Sorry mom.
Whether we intend to read more, write, paint, learn another language, or take up a musical instrument, or craft, somethingalways gets in the way.
any solutions?
wishing you a rockin' weekend!
Reese
Ugh, I am the queen of procrastination!! I wish I knew a solution for that. Please let me know when you have one, ok?? :)
ReplyDeleteI love that little cartoon. Haha so true! I would LOVE to know the secret of getting things done. Time is always running away faster than I can catch up! I hope we both find a balance to find the time to get everything done that we want to!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend, Reese! xo
ooohhh I KNOW this feeling! I should be studying right now but what am I doing??? blogging and commenting on other blogs! well done!
ReplyDeleteHmmmm, well I think everyone has this problem. But if you sit around and 2nd guess yourself you never get anything done. So when I get an idea, I do it right then, or at least start it. I don't know if that'll help, but it might?
ReplyDeleteThat last picture had me giggling! Thanks for that!
Hahaha! I always say I'm going to do stuff, and then I end up blogging!! Haha!
ReplyDeleteCute post! Thanks for your lovely comments. :)

I am a huge procrastinator as well. It once took me SIX hours to write the opening paragraph of a college paper. SIX! I finally just gave in to my habit and told myself I do better work when I do it at the last minute. It's mostly true. ;)
ReplyDeleteLet's just say that I had totally planned to write this comment earlier.
ReplyDeleteI am the undisputed queen of Procrastination. So don't kick yourself. You still have to achieve extremely high levels of putting off stuff to do.
I'm so like this...but with work tasks haha :)
ReplyDeleteI love those graphics! I've had many days like that!
ReplyDeleteThose graphics are HYSTERICAL! And so freaking true :)
ReplyDeleteI actually started my blog because I was such a procrastinator and I needed somebody to hold me accountable for getting anything done! Seriously...it was so bad, I had to start a blog :)
I totally get it...no judging over here :)
Hey Guys! Thanks for all your stories and tips on procrastination! Some of you might have stiff competition for the title "Queen of Procrastion" though. Glad I was able to put a smile on some of your faces!

ReplyDeleteSerious procrastination can be an indicator of much larger emotional/mental issues. Not just a weekend of putting things off, but consistently putting everything off...it's something to beware of.
