Life Lately in Abstract

hmmmm....what to say when i've been absent from blogging....

i do miss it: the personal conversations that i have with you. making friends with people with faces i have yet to see or meet. peeking into your lives through your blogs and pictures. there's something comforting and soothing that writing brings forth. don't you think? 

i've been travelling back and forth from canada and italy, and filling the little pockets of time i find painting and writing. it has been quite challenging. i find that it's easier to manage time and obligations when one has a set schedule and just a few jobs to fullfill. however, i wear many hats, as many of us do, including housewife, chef, teacher, artist, writer, photographer, student, etc. and some days it gets to the point where i don't know where to begin. managing an online shop in addition to having a website and learning on the side can get pretty heavy. some days i long for the full time 9 to 5 job and japanese take-out for dinner. i feel guilty for feeling this way because i know that i have been fortunate to be able to do what i do and live where i live....and that all the adventures and experiences i have will enrich my life, and make me grow in ways i don't even know yet.
